1. About these terms
These Terms govern your use of DateShip, operated by RM RF Labs F.Z.E, Office C1, 1F, SF7931, Ajman Free Zone, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. By creating an account or using DateShip, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. DateShip is intended for people already in a relationship; it is not a dating, matchmaking or public social networking service.
3. Your account
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and verification codes, and tell us if your account may be compromised. You are responsible for activity through your account. At least one supported sign-in method must remain connected while the account is active.
4. Pairs and temporary QR codes
A pair is created only when users choose to connect using a temporary QR code. Share your code only with the intended person. Either partner may leave at any time. Leaving immediately ends access for both partners and permanently deletes the shared album, photos, memories, active date and pair progress. This cannot be undone. Reconnecting requires a new temporary QR code voluntarily shared by a user.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of your photos, captions and other uploads. You give RM RF Labs F.Z.E a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, reproduce and display them only as needed to operate, secure and support DateShip. You confirm that you have all necessary rights and permissions, including consent of people shown in photographs where required. The licence ends when content is deleted, except for the limited time needed to rotate backups.
6. Acceptable use and reports
Do not upload unlawful, threatening, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, deceptive or malicious content, or material that infringes another person’s rights. Do not gain unauthorized access, disrupt the service, bypass limits or misuse another person’s QR code. Report safety or content concerns through “Report a problem” in the app or at support@dateship.app. We may investigate, remove content, restrict or terminate accounts, and respond to lawful requests where reasonably necessary.
7. Account deletion
Permanently delete your account through Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible in the active service. It removes the account, sign-in methods and sessions, ends the pair, and deletes shared content and progress for both partners. Limited technical records may remain temporarily for security, legal compliance or backup rotation as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Service and availability
The current version is free, without subscriptions, in-app purchases or advertising. We may change, suspend or discontinue features and may introduce paid features in the future with appropriate notice and any consent required by law. The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation or recovery of every item. Keep independent copies of important photographs.
9. Intellectual property
DateShip, its software, design, branding and service content, excluding user uploads, belong to RM RF Labs F.Z.E or its licensors. You may use the service only for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose and may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or exploit it except where law expressly allows.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RM RF Labs F.Z.E is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, loss of data, or actions of another user. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to DateShip, law or safety requirements. We will publish updates and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept them. We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, to protect users or the service, or where required by law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without limiting mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence. Please first raise a dispute at support@dateship.app so we can try to resolve it informally.
